Hedgehog from Bangkok
This red and yellow spikes fellow comes from Bangkok. It is the best find we had in Bangkok. It is a Papier-mâché and I love the colors. His eyes are also a bit crazy looking. Of course his expression can be explained by the Amazon warrior on his back. Honestly, hedgehog is the last time I expected to find in Bangkok. But his colorful spikes made him the best found in the summer of 2008.
I found him when Phil was checking out CD in a shopping mall. We are constantly hunting for CDs and vinyl records when we are traveling. Most of the time, we were not particularly lucky. It proved to be particularly difficult in Bangkok. It is not easy to tell whether a CD is traditional Thai music or pop. I was surprised that we couldn't find some of Tata Young's CDs.
Just in case you are wondering...yes, we do have a wooden sign saying 'Toilet'. And yes, it was used in country park. No, we didn't steal it. It was 'found'...
